Post 14, in which I enjoy Chelm and environs

The weather cleared long enough for me to take a few more pictures of Chelm. I was in Lublin over the weekend, to take in "Hannibal Rising" (shudder), but it rained most of the time, and thus those pictures won't be posted. Lublin is pretty depressing, as is this whole area, but I'll probably end up going relatively frequently, because it's only 45 minutes away, and actually has a real movie theater and shops that sell things other than shoes ("obuwie") and a really awesome parisian-style cafe.

My favorite apartment house in Chelm. I like to pretend I live here. There's a cat in the dormer in the roof.
